About Us
The Marshall Youth Club is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2002 to serve the youth of Marshall, WI.
Sports
The Marshall Youth Club offers many different opportunities for boys and girls to play sports.
Basketball
Basketball is available for boys in grades 1-8 and sign up will open in the fall.
Grades 1 or 2 does not have league play, but rather a fundamentals camp that typically is run between January and March. A t-shirt is included in the price of the fundamentals camp.
Grades 3-8 practice begins between late October and late November. Game play begins between December and January (depending on the grade) and runs through approximately March. A uniform shirt is provided (that needs to be returned). All players are required to provide their own shorts (color of which will be determined by individual coaches).
Football
Flag football will be playing in the YMCA NFL league out of Sun Prairie. Flag football is available for kids in Kindergarten-5th grade. Players will need football cleats and mouth guards. Jerseys and flags are provided.
Tackle football is available for kids in 5th through 8th grade. Players will be provided with all necessary equipment for tackle football except for football cleats and mouth guards. It is also recommended to have a girdle with hip, tail and thigh pads integrated into spandex shorts.
All tackle football practices will be at the high school practice field behind Marshall high school.
Tackle football games for 5th and 6th graders will be on Tuesday nights at 6pm. Games for 7th and 8th graders will be on Thursday nights at 6pm.
